David J. Reed
Attorney

David J. Reed is a Nebraska native and a proud graduate of Bellevue West High School ’91.  David is a veteran of our U.S. Navy, having served the entirety of his military career overseas in southeast Asia and the Middle-East, as part of the Desert-Shield defensive action.  David fulfilled his commitment to the United States and then, after receiving a full scholarship to undergraduate school, David attended and graduated from the University of Colorado-Denver.  David then attended Syracuse University College of Law, where he received his Juris Doctorate degree.  While there, he gained valuable litigation skills as the first second-year student to earn a position on the National Tax Moot Court team.  As the lead, David and his partners were able to defeat the defending two-time champions and take home the National Tax Moot Court National Championship.  

After graduation, David defended our educators as a labor relations attorney for the Syracuse Teachers Association.   There he was able to work with the City and the Union in negotiations for labor contracts and the necessary representation of teachers and other personnel in union related matters.   David then continued his practice of law in areas of Medical Malpractice and Insurance defense, in Buffalo and New York City, gaining valuable litigation experience and working with some of the most prominent medical experts in the Nation.  


After a successful career in New York City, David returned to Nebraska to be with his family and start his own.  

As a husband and father of two young boys, David is a proud Husker and a consistent volunteer within his community.   David has led a successful practice for 13 years in Omaha and surrounding areas.    Whether it is criminal defense, a domestic matter or another area of law, David has gathered the necessary experience and knowledge to properly guide you through the process and achieve the results you desire.
